RIJEKA WANTS MIDFIELDER

HNK Rijeka sporting director Elvis Brajkovic has said the club are still hunting for a midfield player. Rijeka appear top heavy on defensive minded midfielders with Damir Krielach and Nevan Vukman fielded against RNK Split. Brajkovic feels Split dominated possession and that Rijeka have yet to replace Ramon Fernandes.

Rijeka are likely to look in the free agent market and may find Ivan Bosnjak (pictured) to their liking as the former Racing Genk man is no longer of interest to Dinamo Zagreb. Creative duties are currently the responsibility of Hjorve Strok. Dinamo Zagreb player Ante Tomic also continues to flounder in the reserves so is available, whilst Miroslav Saric could prove useful.

NK Zagreb are also still on the look out for a striker despite Ivan Kristanovic's one man heroics against Lokomotiva. Once again the side is hunting in the free agent market leaving Karlo Primorac, Tomo Sokota and Dario Zahora as prime targets. Sibenik also were disappointed with Ivan Fustar's performance in the last two games and could hunt down a striker. They are also still negotiating with Hajduk Split defender Ante Aracic.

Hajduk, meanwhile will sign Jurica Vranjes after the player broke his contract with Werder Bremen. Vranjes, arrival allows Hajduk to transfer Mario Brkljaca to Sibir.
