Montenegrin international Radomir Dalovic is the main subject of transfer activity in Croatia, with days left till the deadline. The 27 year old has an impressive record at Rijeka and is seen as essential to the teams ambitions of a top 3 finish this year. Playing off Dalovic has also revived Ivan Rodic, but Rijeka are not eager to rely purely on Rodic alone.
Dalovic is recognised by many as the best striker in HNL1 at the moment. 500,000 Euro's from Amkar Perm was not enough to bring Dalovic. Although the Russian league is a suitable home for Dalovic, Rijeka rate the player nearer the 1m Euro mark which is acceptable for a scorer of goals at international level.
Rijeka will also not have much time to react to purchase a new striker should they wish to buy from another club. Ahmad Sharbini for example, would be a realistic quick fire venture. If they do sell they'd have to look for free agents so Tomislav Sokota and Ivan Bosnjak could come high on the agenda. It would also allow them to tie up a deal for ex player Sinisa Linic. It will be interesting to see what approach Rijeka take. Most likely the club will wait till the winter transfer window.
