Palermo striker Igor Budan looks set to be the next Croatian player to join a new club after transfer negotiations started with newly promoted Serie A side Cesana. Although Edison Cavani has moved across to Napoli, Palermo signed Massimo Maccarone and are chasing a Cesana player and hope exchanging Budan can sweeten the deal.Stipe Pletikosa should also complete his on off deal with Tottenham Hotspur shortly. However Nikica Jelavic will not be joining Glasgow Rangers after their top bid of 3.5m pounds was rejected by Rapid Vienna. Jelavic is in hot form and his Austrian club believe he is worth 5m Euro's on the current market. Rangers interest may alert other British clubs to his capabilities, so Jelavic could still yet transfer before the deadline.
