Hajduk Split completed a good week by seeing off Sibenik on Saturday. Stanko Poklepovic has altered the team in recent weeks and it seems to be working wonders. Mirko Oremus has taken up a new role at right back, allowing the creative Marin Tomasov to come on to the right wing where he can rotate with left winger Anas Sharbini in a highly attack and mobile forward three behind lone striker Ante Vukusic. Senijad Ibricic is doing a excellant job as roaming playmaker both building play and scoring goals. Vukusic meanwhile has been full of running and has a understanding with Ibricic having been fielded together last season.
Amazingly Hajduk have a very sensible sized squad in comparison to last season, with youngsters Ante Rezic, Dinko Trebotic, Franko Andriasejvic and Goran Jozinovic having access to the team from the bench. In fact it seems Hajduk will shelve in plans to sign Jurica Vranjes due to the success of Mario Brkljaca in central midfield. They also hope to give opportunities to Marin Ljubicic when he returns from injury and there may also be chance for Kreso Ljubicic to be fielded from the bench, now that Mario Ticinovic has been loaned to Karlovac.
