Dinamo Zagreb striker Ilija Sivonjic has found himself back in limbo after Lokomotiva decided not to retain him for the peak season. Instead Loko will turn to Dodo to partner the vastly experienced Nino Bule in attack, with Ivan Peko, Dalibor Pandza and Marko Simic as support.
Sivonjic, arguably is in need of a complete change of environment to revive his career. The forward seemed ideally suited to Inter Zapresic where he impressed initially prior to his switch to Dinamo. However Zapresic since signed Aleksandr Trajkovic and Matija Matko who have both performed well and paid out for Albanian Arber Abilijaj. Unless Zapresic can farm out Abilijaj back to Albania then there is currently no room for Sivonjic.
More realistic is NK Zagreb who are light on strikers after realising Xhevahir Sukaj to Vllazina. NK Zagreb could also be a possibility for Ivan Rodic who is looking for a new club after surprisingly being let go by NK Rijeka. Zagreb would also be a realistic surrounding for Ivan Bosnjak or Miroslav Saric who are still without a club after over 6 months.
