NK Zagreb look to be back in business after negotiating the sale of Croatian Under 19 star Vedran Celjak to Sampdoria for 500,000 Euro's. The deal looks set to give Zagreb scope to move in the transfer market having been restricted in the last 12 months. With only HNL2 stars Vedran Celiscak and Krunoslav Rendulic returning fans would not have had much hope for optimism. However Zagreb now have fair wage packages to offer to free agents still on the market.
Zagreb may also have to expect a offer for 9 goal striker Ivan Krstanovic after Hajduk Split struggled to land prime target Mate Bilic. Krstanovic could give much needed depth to Hajduk's forward line. If such a deal is made, Ivan Rodic, Domagoj Abramovic, Miroslav Saric, Ivan Bosnjak and Ilija Sivonjic could all be monitored over the next week. Dario Smoje and Tomislav Labdurovic may also be considered to add strength to the squad which struggled under new coach Luka Pavlovic after making a fine start to the season under Ivo Susak.
