BODUL OFF TO PORTUGAL

Croatian Under 21 international Darko Bodul has completed his much needed transfer out of Ajax, signing to Portuguese side Nachional. Bodul, 22 will team up with Dejan Skolnik who has impressed since arriving from Maribor. Elsewhere Ivan Klasnic is set for added competition after Daniel Sturridge signed on loan at Bolton Wanderers from Chelsea. Niko Kranjcar is staying put and won't be leaving Tottenham Hotspur as has only recently become a father.

As of this moment Marko Babic, Ivan Bosnjak, Dino Drpic, Miroslav Saric, Domogoj Abramovic, Ivan Rodic and Marko Maric are all still free agents and are free to move after the transfer deadline. However Jurica Vranjes will spend another six months without football after failing to gain a transfer out of Werder Bremen. Instead the 30 year old midfielder will run down his contract which expires in the summer.

Slovan Liberec meantime, have allowed striker Andrej Keric to transfer across to Sparta Prague after threatening to dump the former Cibalia player in the reserve team. Liberec were annoyed at the player running down his contract, but have finally recieved compenation for Keric who scored 6 goals this season so far.
